Andrea Mohns-Brillaud

Andrea is in her 13th year as the Head Coach/Manager of Skating at Boston University. The Boston University Figure Skating Team has qualified for 12 consecutive National Championships under her direction and hope to qualify for the 13th time this year. The team has been on the podium all 12 years and won the National Championships in 2009, 2010, 2017, 2018, and 2019. Andrea is a former Terrier herself and enjoys being back on campus. She has been coaching 35 years and has had students compete at the regional, sectional, and national level. Her students have earned gold medals through the United States Figure Skating testing structure in freestyle, moves in the field and figures. Andrea is also the Director of Skating at Phillips Academy in Andover, MA.

Andrew Miller Korda

Andrew is the BUFSC ice dance coach and has been with the team since 2011. A life-long Terrier, Andrew completed his undergraduate degree in 2013 and went on to obtain a Master of Health Communications degree (COM/MET ’21) with the generous support of Boston University as the first Graduate Assistant for Figure Skating. As a former Intercollegiate Champion in ice dance for BU, Andrew is proud to continue coaching the team. Before coming to BU, Andrew skated competitively under the US Olympic Developmental Team--winning both Sectional and National competitions. Andrew has also taught students privately in ice dance, moves in the field, and choreography at all levels. His students have earned gold medals through the United States Figure Skating test structure and have also been among the finalists in the National Solo Dance Series.
